The work reflects on a village in Turkey undergoing gentrification — once a quiet agricultural community where traces of its past still linger. Amid the constant hum of construction and new developments, the sounds of cattle remain, a living memory of the village’s former life. These cows became the starting point for the work: video clips capturing their movement and anatomy were transformed into engravings on glass, decoding their form into delicate, layered imagery. Above the sculpture, a light source rotates like a helicopter propeller, evoking the sensation of flight and migration — a gesture linking memory, movement, and the transformation of place.
